David Stanton
David Stanton has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors since September 2002. Mr. Stanton is a Founding Partner of Francisco Partners and has been its Managing Partner since its formation in August 1999. Prior to founding Francisco Partners, Mr. Stanton led the technology investing activities of Texas Pacific Group, a private equity fund, from 1994 until August 1999. Prior to joining Texas Pacific Group, he was a venture capitalist with Trinity Ventures, which specializes in investments in information technology, software and telecommunications companies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Stanton was a strategy consultant with Bain & Company. Mr. Stanton also serves as a director of C-MAC.


David Golob
David Golob has been a Director since the recapitalization. Mr. Golob joined Francisco Partners as a Partner in September 2001, and focuses primarily on investments in the software and services sectors. From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Golob was a Managing Director with Tiger Management, a $20 billion hedge fund based in New York, where he was co-head of the global technology group and focused on the software industry. Prior to Tiger Management, Mr. Golob spent seven years as a private equity investor focused on the software industry at General Atlantic Partners and Sutter Hill Ventures. Earlier in his career, Mr. Golob was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company and a Product Manager with Newport Systems Solutions, Inc. (acquired by Cisco). Mr. Golob also serves on the board of directors of AttachmateWRQ, Barracuda Networks, City Index, Primavera and RedPrairie Corporation.


Gary Greenfield
As Chief Executive Officer of Avid Technology, a world leader in designing and developing innovative content creation, media production and broadcast solutions, Mr. Greenfield oversees a number of initiatives designed to achieve greater operating efficiencies within and across the company’s Video, Audio, and Consumer divisions. Mr. Greenfield served as the CEO of GXS from 2003 to 2007 and has been a Director since December 2003. Mr. Greenfield is also an Operating Partner with Francisco Partners. Previously, he also served as CEO of Peregrine Systems, a global leader in consolidated asset and service management software, where he managed the business from July of 2002 through August of 2003. Prior to joining Peregrine, he was president and CEO of MERANT, a publicly traded e-business development solutions company, from 1998 to 2001. As CEO of INTERSOLV before this, Mr. Greenfield oversaw the merger with Micro Focus to form MERANT in 1998. Mr. Greenfield joined Sage Software (a predecessor of Merant through merger) in 1987 as Vice President of Marketing, and served in various capacities with them until becoming President in 1995, and CEO in 1998. Mr. Greenfield serves on the Board of Directors of Hyperion Solutions (where he is Chairman of the Audit Committee), Mobius Management Systems, Managed Objects and is chairman of Intellitactics.


John A. McKenna, Jr.
John McKenna has been a Director since 2006. Mr. McKenna is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ConvergeOne, LLC, a leading provider of end-to-end communications solutions, data solutions, and services to enterprise and mid-market customers. Prior to becoming CEO in August 2008, Mr. McKenna served for more than eight years as CEO of Siemens IT Solutions and Services, Inc. where he was responsible for the company’s strategic direction and operational excellence, and a member of the company’s North American Management Board.

Prior to that, Mr. McKenna was CEO of ENTEX Information Services, one of the leading providers of distributed computing infrastructure services in the computer industry, where he directed a major corporate restructuring that transitioned the company to a services-only organization and let to its acquisition by Siemens and the formation of Siemens IT Solutions and Services in 2000.

From 1989 to 1993, he served in various capacities at JWP, Inc., most recently as Senior Executive Vice President of JWP Information Services where he was responsible for managing the company, focusing on optimizing operations and profitability.

After graduating from Trinity College, Mr. McKenna started his career as a sales trainee for IBM Corporation. During his nine years he rose through the organization to oversee one of the largest branch operations in New York City.


Venkat Mohan
Venkat Mohan has been a Director since the recapitalization and is a member of the Compensation Committee. Mr. Mohan is a General Partner at Norwest Venture Partners, which he joined in 2000. Before joining Norwest Venture Partners, Mr. Mohan served for several years as President and Chief Operating Officer of OnDisplay, a leading provider of business-to-business infrastructure software and services. From September 1996 to October 1999, Mr. Mohan also served as our Vice President of Global Marketing and Business Development. He was also President of Cadis Software, Ltd., a software start-up company, from 1993 to 1996 and Chief Executive Officer of WIPRO Systems, Ltd., one of India's largest software companies, from 1988 to 1990. In addition, he previously worked for Hewlett Packard, Young & Rubicam, and McKinsey & Company. Mr. Mohan also sits on the board of directors for Epiance Inc. and the 41st Parameter, Inc. Norwest Venture Partners is one of the co-investors in our company.


Bob Segert
Bob Segert has been a Director since January 2008. Mr. Segert brings more than 15 years of broad and diverse business leadership experience to GXS as President and Chief Executive Officer. He has extensive experience in executing corporate and business unit strategies, profit and loss management, business development and sales and marketing. Prior to joining GXS in 2008, Mr. Segert was leader of the Global Financial Products Industry at EDS. In this role, Mr. Segert drove global industry strategies, product offerings, go-to-market approaches and sales support for the financial services industry. Mr. Segert oversaw mission-critical services, such as financial transaction processing, mortgage and consumer loan processing, life insurance business process outsourcing (BPO) and credit card processing.

While at EDS, Mr. Segert also served as chief marketing officer, general manager of U.S. Financial Services and managing director of Corporate Strategy and Planning.

Previously, Mr. Segert held roles at A.T. Kearney and Frito-Lay. He received a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelors of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University.


Carl Wilson
Carl Wilson has been a Director since December 2003. He has been Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Marriott International, Inc. since 1997. He has global accountability for all business information technology resources. Before joining Marriott, Mr. Wilson served as Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Information Resources for Georgia-Pacific Corporation. Prior to this, he served as Senior Vice President of Management Information Services for the Food and International Retailing Sectors of Grand Metropolitan Plc. and Vice President of Information Management for The Pillsbury Company. Mr. Wilson is a member of the AT&T Executive Customer Advisory Council. Mr. Wilson also serves as a director for Enamics, Inc. and Software Architects, Inc.
