Course Description:
The course covers how to set up mailboxes and create trading relationships; send and receive EDI and non-EDI documents using the Enterprise FTP Server; use the Support User’s Web-based User Interface (WUI), and; creates familiarity with some of the optional modules available with Enterprise.

Participants learn how to set Enterprise system parameters; use the basic document-level tracking and reporting facilities; diagnose error messages and determine corrective actions; monitor Enterprise using Audit Log and other utilities, and; understand and use the CFTP Bridge.

Required Prerequisites:

• Familiarity with how to perform basic UNIX command-line operations, such as listing, copying and editing files
• Understand EDI basics as described in the ANSI X12 tutorial in the Education Center at http://www.gxs.com
• Read the Enterprise System Concepts Guide and System Overview
• In-depth familiarity with your company business processes and EAI and EDI strategies
• Know your company's Enterprise System base software type and version to include a list of optionally purchased add-on products

Course Objective:
Participants will be able to competently know how to perform Enterprise administrative tasks and operational tasks using a Support System User Interface and the UNIX command line. They will understand the set up for an EDI translation using Application Integrator and the AI Bridge.
